Canyon day from Kutaisi
Today belongs to the lush canyons of Samegrelo. We start at Martvili Canyon, once the private bathing place of the noble Dadiani family, gliding by boat between mossy marble walls and beneath small waterfalls, the water an unreal shade of emerald. After lunch we move on to Okatse Canyon, where a metal walkway clings to the cliff face and hangs, breathtakingly, high above the river below. For those still full of energy there is the option of the tiered Kinchkha Waterfall nearby, before the drive back to Kutaisi.
