We begin in the hills above Kutaisi at the UNESCO-listed Gelati Monastery and the clifftop Motsameta, then descend underground into the illuminated halls and river of Prometheus Cave.

A boat ride between the marble walls of Martvili Canyon in the morning, then we cross the country to the forested spa town of Borjomi for the night.
