Dashbashi Canyon
Green canyon with a glass bridge
On the volcanic plateau southwest of Tbilisi, Dashbashi Canyon has become one of Georgia’s most talked-about new destinations — a deep green gorge now spanned by a striking diamond-shaped glass bridge.
The glass bridge stretches across the canyon with a small café suspended in a glass “diamond” at its centre, hanging directly over the drop. For the adventurous there is a zip-line and a via ferrata route along the cliffs.
Below, walking trails descend into the canyon itself, where a waterfall falls through mossy rock and wildflowers carpet the slopes in spring. The contrast of bold modern engineering and untouched nature is what makes Dashbashi memorable.
Its location on the southern highlands makes it an easy and dramatic stop on the way toward Javakheti and the cave city of Vardzia.
Join us at Dashbashi to stand on glass above a green Georgian gorge.
