TOUR HIGHLIGHTS

Half an hour beyond Borjomi rises Rabati — a citadel of domes, minarets, gardens and pale stone towers that looks lifted straight from a storybook. Founded in the 9th century and rebuilt in loving detail, it hides a mosque, a synagogue and a church within one set of walls: a thousand years of Georgian coexistence in a single afternoon. The perfect half-day when small legs need a rest from the slopes.

Borjomi made Georgian mineral water famous across half the world, and in winter the spa town is at its most photogenic: a snow-dusted park along the gorge, the legendary water drunk warm straight from the source, and open-air sulfur pools hidden in the forest above. Soaking outdoors at 38 degrees while snowflakes land on your shoulders is Georgia's answer to the Japanese onsen — and the memory your kids will retell for years.
TOUR ITINERARY
DAY
1
Arrival & Transfer to Bakuriani
We collect you at Tbilisi International Airport and drive west through the Borjomi gorge to Bakuriani (about 2.5 hours), a resort village scattered through a pine forest at 1,700 m. Check-in at a 4* SPA hotel on half board; the pool and sauna are open before dinner, and the resort's unhurried rhythm starts working immediately.

2
Ski Day: Didveli
First family day on the snow. The Didveli gondola climbs to 2,700 m for the parents' long runs, while the lower slopes, the '25' snow park and the kids' ski school take care of the younger crew — English-speaking instructors can be booked by the hour. Tubing and sledging fill whatever energy is left before the hotel pool.

3
Ski Day & Family Cooking Class
Morning on the slopes at your own pace. In the late afternoon the whole family swaps skis for aprons: a hands-on masterclass in khachapuri — Georgia's famous cheese bread, rolled and baked from scratch — and churchkhela, the walnut-and-grape 'Georgian snickers' that hangs in every market. You eat your homework for dinner.

4
Borjomi: Park, Springs & Warm Pools
A day out in Borjomi, the spa town that made Georgian mineral water world-famous. We stroll the snow-dusted Central Park, drink the legendary water warm from the source, and then do the thing everyone photographs: soaking in open-air warm sulfur pools while snow falls into the forest around you. Option: the fairytale Rabati fortress in Akhaltsikhe. From January 2027 — the restored Kukushka narrow-gauge train across the Eiffel Bridge (subject to confirmation).

DAY
5
Snow Fun & SPA
A free-form snow day: more skiing for those who caught the bug, tubing marathons, a horse-drawn sleigh ride through the forest, or a family winter photo walk. The evening is for the SPA — pool, sauna and that specific deep sleep only mountain air produces.
