Tbilisi city tour and old Mtskheta
We explore Tbilisi’s Old Town and its cable-car fortress, then drive to the nearby ancient capital of Mtskheta with its UNESCO-listed churches above the rivers.

Kazbegi overnight
We drive the Georgian Military Highway north past Ananuri and the Friendship Monument to Stepantsminda, with the climb to Gergeti Trinity Church beneath Mount Kazbek before settling in for the night.

Truso Valley and return
A day deep in the mountains, hiking or driving into the Truso Valley with its bubbling mineral springs, lonely watchtowers and wild scenery, before the scenic return to Tbilisi.

Kakheti wine day
Our final day heads east to the Bodbe Convent, the walled town of Sighnaghi and the towering Alaverdi Cathedral, with a qvevri wine tasting before returning to Tbilisi.
